Paul Klee Center – Creaviva for Children

The Paul Klee Centre (which opened in 2005), comprises some 4000 of the 10,000 paintings, water-colours, drawings, archive and other exhibits on the eminent artist (1879-1940) who was born near Berne. The collection is the largest worldwide of any single artist of international renown. The Paul Klee Centre – unlike a museum in the traditional sense – was designed by award-winning Italian architect Renzo Piano. His unique construction, blending into the surrounding landscape, has become a cultural attraction in its own right.
For children a visit at the Children Museum Creaviva is a must. Children and their families can explore their artistic skills and participate in the workshops supported by professional artists and art educators.
